We’re women-owned and veteran-owned, started by friends who grew up on this end of the Jersey Shore.
Upper Township is where a lot of locals go to get away from the crowds. A few favorites:
Strathmere’s beaches don’t require beach tags, and on-street parking is free, which makes the township’s slice of the shore a local favorite.
On Willard Road in Strathmere, the Deauville Inn traces its history to 1881, when it opened as the Whelen Hotel.
This state wildlife area covers 18,659 acres across Upper Township and three Atlantic County towns, with impoundments that draw birders and anglers.
The county-owned park along Route 50 in Petersburg is run by the township. In 2026 the county approved upgrades that include a rebuilt skate park, a fitness court and a restroom.
Pick up the Garden State Parkway south and stay on it to the end, where it becomes Route 109. Follow Route 109 into Cape May, take Lafayette Street to Sunset Blvd, and look for our shop. From the middle of the township it’s about 23 miles and 27 minutes. Plan on about 34 minutes from Marmora and about 37 minutes from Strathmere. Expect a toll along the way, and leave a little extra time on summer weekends.
